Castelli Romani by bike

Day 1 – Meet the participants at Via Appia Antica 175 and ride with us on an electric bike for an exciting trip! We will begin our tour by pedaling along the legendary Via Appia Antica, a true journey through time. See ancient tombs, majestic aqueducts, and the remains of Roman villas as your guide tells fascinating stories of legionnaires, emperors, and travelers. As the echoes of the past resonate under the wheels of your bicycle, it will feel like taking a trip back in time.

The chaos of the Capital is long gone, and as we pedal, we will arrive at an oasis of peace: Castel Gandolfo. Here, the medieval village, the view of the crystal-clear lake, and the Papal Palace (the summer residence of the Popes) will surprise you with their beauty and authenticity. We will combine the beauty of the sites with a delicious tasting/lunch at the bistro of a porchetta producer.

Accommodation in holiday homes in the city centre of Castel Gandolfo and free time to discover the village. Overnight stay.

Day 2 – Get on your bike and pedal through Castel Gandolfo, Marino, and Grottaferrata to arrive in Frascati. Pedaling through the charming village where cardinals and nobles built splendid villas, such as the magnificent Villa Aldobrandini, we will arrive at an Antica Osteria (old tavern) where we will taste wine and local products. In the afternoon, we head back to Rome by train.
